This magnificent oil painting by Kenton Nelson entitled Big Shoes, 2011, was part of the FROSTIG AT LARGE ; Artists of the Frostig Collection exhibit that Stern guest-curated for the Museum of Art and History ( MOAH), in Lancaster, CA. in 2013. A long-time fan of Kenton’s, Stern was thrilled to put this large painting at the top of the museum’s stairs, allowing it to be seen from a multitude of vantage points.
